B. Necessary to perform an agreement
- Pre-contractual stage: making contact, responding to an enquiry or order, negotiating, providing or requesting information with a view to entering into an agreement, and drawing up agreements.

4.2 How we process it
Your data is always treated confidentially. It is not traded, sold, rented or passed to third parties outside the contractual relationship or a specific assignment. To deliver our services we may be assisted by a small number of processors; where they have access to your personal data, we obtain the guarantees required under the GDPR.
Your personal data is processed by EUROFOOD BV within the EU. Should a processor process data outside the EU — for example by storing it in a data centre outside the EU — the transfer will take place on the basis of appropriate measures guaranteeing an adequate level of protection.
In rare cases we may be required to disclose your personal data following a court order or to comply with other binding legislation. Where we are legally permitted to do so, we will make a reasonable effort to inform you in advance.
We keep personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes of the processing. After that it is deleted or anonymised.
5. Security
EUROFOOD BV puts appropriate technical and organisational security measures in place to prevent the destruction, loss, falsification, alteration, unauthorised access to, or mistaken disclosure to third parties of personal data, as well as any other unauthorised processing. We apply a combination of measures including encryption, access management, up-to-date firewall and virus protection, and a password policy. EUROFOOD BV cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage arising from the incorrect or unlawful use of your personal data by a third party.
6. Your rights
You have the right to know, free of charge and at any time, what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
6.1 Correction, deletion and restriction
You are free to decide whether to share your personal data with us. You may ask us at any time to correct, complete or delete your personal data. You acknowledge that where data is refused or deleted, certain goods or services may no longer be available. You may also ask us to restrict processing.
6.2 Right to object
You may object to the processing of your personal data, including processing based on legitimate interest. You may always object to the use of your personal data for direct marketing, without giving a reason.
6.3 Data portability
You have the right to receive the personal data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used, machine-readable format, and to have it transferred to another controller.
6.4 Withdrawing consent
Where processing is based on your prior consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time.
6.5 How to exercise your rights
